We at Island of paradise want to take you back, way back to 1989 when Haiti was country of love, peace and harmony, when we use to feel comfortable to walk the street with no problem, kids in the yard playing with their friends and siblings, older kids passing the little rendezvous to meet with their girlfriends, or boyfriends just to hangout. Bak fritay in Haiti was the number one night joint to spend time with friends and family, fritay was the best night snack, I remembered selling my dinner plate to my cousin just to get money later on to buy fritay afterward we would go buy some food then go back home seat outside telling story, jump rope, playing hide and seek with our friends, in the province area some kids would put together little shows like theater play, dance contest, karaoke and standup comedy.
Our mission is to bring back most of these activities maybe even more. Island of paradise will be an inspiring Restaurant, combining a mixture of Caribbean atmosphere with excellent and tasty food.
